It is a stone that can contain more than 12 chemical elements, coming from Quebec (Canada), the Arctic Circle (Greenland), and the Ural Mountains. Moreover, it is not very well known in crystal therapy.
Its name comes from the Greek for “easily decomposable” (eu, good, and dialytos, decomposable), because it is easily soluble in acid.
Colors and shades of Eudialite
This crystal features red and pink shades that deepen into intense magenta, with pink, white, and black streaks.
At this point, a small explanatory note seems necessary.
You may remember (I hope!) that I have repeatedly mentioned how the coloration of crystals often depends on the elements they contain (copper, chromium, lithium, to name a few common ones). These elements absorb certain frequencies (each color has a specific frequency) of the electromagnetic spectrum, and the stone’s color results from the sum of the frequencies not absorbed by the mineral’s elements.
Color is fundamental for the proper functioning of the body and influences our health, bringing harmony.
Eudialite, in its various shades, involves two main colors: red and pink, each with its own symbolic meaning and energetic influence.
Red represents blood, vitality, and action.
Red crystals stimulate determination, extroversion, and courage. Their energies are earth-oriented, preventing the mind from escaping into fantasy worlds far from reality. Red minerals invigorate imagination, enhance creative thinking, and drive us to secure our place in the world. Learning becomes faster, the translation of ideas into reality quicker – even impulsive. They intensify emotions, strengthening both love and anger.
Wine-pink represents unconditional love. Pink crystals stimulate loving expression and encourage balanced relationships, promote harmony with nature and its laws, sharpen discernment, and foster generosity.
Eudialite works on both the Second Chakra (Svadhisthana, associated with sweetness and bodily/sensual happiness) and the Fourth Chakra (Anahata, representing universal love). It provides a connection between the sexual chakra and the heart chakra, symbolizing the union between life energy and love.
Eudialite: the crystal of new beginnings
Eudialite is the stone that opens the way to new beginnings; it is the stone of change.
It aligns and synchronizes our being with what we need to do and what we dream of doing.
It is useful for processing grief, anxiety, pain, and depression; it can also help when facing exhaustion or nervous system issues.
It provides comfort, helps accept one’s weaknesses, and overcome resistance. It allows us to learn from our mistakes and start over, leaving behind depression, dissatisfaction, and jealousy.
It helps release situations that cannot be changed and makes it possible to accept ourselves and everything that a person is.
It promotes awareness in thoughts, words, and actions, especially when working with others. It encourages self-healing of the body.
Eudialite is the crystal for those who wish to express more love, especially self-love. It reminds us to choose and follow our passions, inviting us to create a life path that holds the most meaning for us.
It also helps identify the gifts we have received from life, overcome fears, and resolve doubts and confusion.
Last but not least, this crystal stimulates physical sexual energy!
A useful recommendation: It should not be worn at night. Being highly vital and energizing, it may prevent the relaxation necessary for sleep, making it harder to rest.
How to cleanse and recharge the stone
To cleanse Eudialite, immerse it in cold water for a few hours. Alternatively, it can rest on an amethyst or clear quartz cluster.
For recharging: sunlight (not direct) and moonlight restore its vitality.
When Eudialite has given all its energetic potential, even though it is a hard mineral, it will become fragile and may break. In this case, it is best to return it to nature, releasing it into the sea or a river.
Crystals for reconnecting with ourselves
Eudialite has given me so much, openly: the desire to fulfill a wish, a window into my unconscious, something personal and intimate.
In meditation with this crystal, one can restart life, face challenges, or gain deeper self-knowledge—approaching what we deeply desire, with one premise: we are responsible for our actions.
Crystals are desires.
The interpretation of crystals is a deeply personal matter. In recent months, I have shared my dialogue with them, which is both sweet and bitter. I continuously question myself, and I want to emphasize that working with crystals is not a fashion or project but is inseparable from the Earth, from the Mother.
Cave-dwellers used crystals naturally, without complication; aboriginal populations used them for everything: culture, history, land, love.
That said, crystals are not a trend but a discipline, through which people must and can begin to listen to themselves again.
