The story of Tulite
The name of this stone comes from the legendary Island of Thule, which the ancient Greeks located in Northern Europe, most likely in Norway. Tulite can be found in Norway, Namibia, Western Australia, and North Carolina (USA).
It belongs to the Zoisite family, along with Tanzanite and Anyolite, and contains calcium, aluminum, and manganese. The amount of manganese determines its color, which can range from pale pink to deep reddish-pink.
The minerals present in Tulite are very important for the human body. Calcium, the most abundant mineral in our system, plays a crucial role in many biochemical processes, including stabilizing the heart rhythm and strengthening the heart. Aluminum can be beneficial in combating fatigue.
The beneficial effects of Tulite
This stone inspires the desire to take action and make decisions; it helps one step out of the shadows, allowing desires and fantasies to be fully experienced, while remaining in tune with personal needs.
Tulite restores inner certainty that, although we are spiritual beings, we still have the right to enjoy physical life without guilt.
It helps heal wounds inflicted on personal life energy by a restrictive and puritanical upbringing experienced during childhood. Tulite is also believed to enhance fertility, especially in women; when placed near the pubic area, it is thought to influence the ovaries. It can also be used in cases of impotence.
The stone also affects the mind and psyche.
It promotes curiosity and is considered a stone that fosters inventiveness. Wearing it allows you to see problems from a new perspective, often leading to creative and innovative solutions. Tulite can even help strengthen creativity, improve eloquence, and explore ways to harmonize logic and love. It stimulates the desire for personal gratification and pleasure and encourages a freer, more constructive expression of desire and sensuality.
During times of discouragement, it can help rediscover joy in small things and appreciate beauty.
The stone encourages adventure, romance, and enjoyment of the unique atmosphere of the moment. Tulite is a crystal of change, promoting productivity in various areas of life, from emotional and professional realms to new opportunities on the horizon. If you feel drawn to this crystal, it may signal that you are in need of significant change, or that a transformation is maturing within you ushering in a new phase of life, greater self-awareness, or previously unexplored aspects of your personality.
Mother Earth is always in a state of creation and offers crystals that encourage self-awareness. This symbolism is particularly common in women preparing for the experience of childbirth, as the stone reflects their desires and anxieties. However, it can also resonate with women not planning a pregnancy, representing a new idea or project they are developing.
My advice: how to use Tulite
I recommend this stone to young people experiencing the challenges of change, but also to middle-aged men.
To recharge Tulite, it is best to place it on an amethyst or clear quartz cluster; sunlight (indirect) and moonlight baths can also help restore its vitality.
I do not recommend sleeping with it, as it increases energy and may interfere with the relaxation needed to fall asleep. However, it is excellent for use during meditation.
